Depends if Ian's live or has been updated I understand communication around Big L isn't that great. David Hutson posted on MRN that Chirpy has finished breakfast. So it looks final. Hasn't his Sat show finished as well?
Yes I noticed MRN had sprang into life. Makes a change but its Gary's forum not mine. I'm just a moderator. Problem is so little actually happens in the radio world these days theres nothing to get excited about.

I think Ian is aware of whatever the situation is at the moment, especially as he's just said that his "good friend Chirpy's just been through" on the phone.
Mind you, Dave Hutson is usually switched on and knows a fair ammount.

I can't comment on what is or isn't going on. I have heard nothing officially and had heard nothing from the Chirpmiester himself, until he emailed the show this afternoon. I read the email out as I would for any other listener. As to what may, or may not have happened, I won't speculate.
Btw: yes it was a live show as always and wrt the promos, my system just selects a 20s promo at random, so no significance to that either way :-)
Chances are, if I had heard anything officially, I would not be able to reveal it anyway.
