No I am not upset and I do know that everyone has their own opinions and sometimes I post mine as well. I think everyone knows how pro-BIGL I am and because I wanted this forum to be about great music & great stations for all our members, instead of maybe getting into the gossip of the stations, how about listening to my George Harrison thread and post about the music sometimes.

A good idea but I rarely comment on anything other than radio on forums & my other hobby caravanning (aka trailers in the USA)on another forum Mary Ann. Not that I am about to discuss caravanning on any radio/music forum. But I do feel that this discussion has now run its course.

I would like to point out a few things. I used to listen to Big L all the time in the past, but like anyone their choices change. They can change for a number of reasons. I have not at any time put Big L down. I also have a lot of respect for most of those working on Big L. Never say I do not like Big L. This is supposed to be a forum. A place where your able to debate, talk and discuss things. Not everyone thinks the same as yourself. Garry Stevens is prepared to take Chirpy aboard and there are other offers. Chirps did not quit BigL---he was pushed overboard. Love him or loath him, you cannot deny that he had character and a certain charm. Please do not character assassinate the man on this forum as that is not what this site is about, if you have something to say about Chirps, positive or negative or about anyone else then be brave and say it but backhanded sarcasm and total assassination cannot be tolerated. If I was computer savvy enough to be able to do it (although I'm sure my associate engineer would help) I'd ask Chirpy to perhaps syndicate his morning show on Cable as well thus offering a chance of a maybe wider audience.

Chirpy has done a lot of good for a lot of people. He works for certain charities with no one knowing. He never brags about his charity work. He`s one of the most genuine guys anyone could know. In this day and age to find someone like Chirpy its quite refreshing and gives the human race hope. He has always been someone I respect. To present a 4 hour live show each day for about 18 months and all that for free, and then told to go, not nice, not nice at all. As Reaper has said, lets hope Chirpy takes up Garry`s offer.
Chris------I spoke to Chirpy about his options and he would be delighted to have his programs streamed to all that want them-----he just needs you and others to ask----as simple as that, plus he has a loyal following which will listen to whatever station he broadcasts on. So go for it m8-----ask and ye shall receive. Remember it's all free programming for you as he will charge zero. Col.
