It's funny if you can get hold of it somehow and has a few "stars" appearing on it. You'd need Ex pat shield and get ont ITV player. If it asks you for a postcode, give one which you know at home.

Yep! So it seems anyway. The computer is to undergo some major "open cabinet surgery" in the next few days when I introduce its new RAM which will be 4 times what it is at the moment.

Make sure before you ad more RAMs that your processor can manage it - more is not always faster

Thats right. A very easy mistake people make is adding more ram thinking the computer will run faster but it can sometimes confuse the processor making it slower.

Well, I looked on the Mr Memory Site and for my confuser (Dell Inspiron 530) he recommended 4gb max, whicjh is what I've bought. Of that probably the max it will use will be 3.5gb.
However, I take what you Gents have said aboard and will see what happens.
You definitely shouldn't put in the new bars yourself - if you take the wrong ones or make any mistake you might ruin the whole pc and it even cannot start anymore. If you have 538 mbs now 2 GBs would be more than enough - with more you wouldn't notice any difference either - maybe much slower only. The thing is that processor and RAM have to cooperate so better before you waste any money - ask s.o. in the know
Pcs get slow also when you have too many useless Auto-start programms or Ad-ons that don't work properly
Its surprising how much junk we have on our computers without us knowing. Things we forgot about a long time back. We delete things but they are still in the computer. Its all that junk and deleted files that slow up things.
