try again tomorrow - same frequency 5955 khz, same time - antenna at Nauen will be even more directed to Southend than today

( good to hear that the ops went okay - not a nice thing I know from myself but the meds take time to take effect )

Extreme weather here now so may not be as good as today---might have to resort to indoor loop antenna as high winds will play havoc with wiring outside.

10 03am British time------Queen with "we will rock you". Reception from KBC is brilliant on 5955khz----almost as good as AM, minimum of fading using indoor directional antenna.
Not very good on 6095khz even with outside wire antenna.
5955 will attract a great brit audience------Eric you have suddenly found the long awaited replacement to offshore radio---it's bl**dy magic.

yes also over here in Southern Bavaria and downtown MUC (with all its electronic mush around) reception is excellent - louder and clearer than on 6095.
BTW - on 6095 they relay an outdated stream ... (a loop telling that the stream is outdated )

When are the next tests? (PLEASE say tomorrow!!)

Thanks for reply Eric---as to my eyes, well my left eye is "dead" due to damage to the optic nerve and I have about 10% sight in my left eye due to accelerated glaugoma which was helped along by diabetes which had not been treated in time [my own fault] Latest ops should prevent any further loss but thats not definite.I've been through the "suicide" phase and feeling sorry for myself but managed to bounce back with the help of friends and my lovely wife [you've met her].
Now it's a pleasure to hear you succeeding with KBC and all going well----couldn't get a clear signal on 6095khz today but maybe down to weather.

Good reception Sunday in Essex S7/8 little bit of hissing and fading. Noticed a bit of low powered interference [sounded like another station just below 6095] nothing that spoilt Ron's show.Ilistened until close down at 1600hrs and really enjoyed----great job Eric but not enough hours of KBC, are you going to extend?
