Actually, this show has opened in RealPlayer which apart from being unusual on my system is giving me the opportunity of recording it, so I'll do that then upload to Sendspace.

@ Simon D - thank-you I will google this.

@Coastie - yes it also opens on Real-player on my PC but where is the download-button on Real-player - I looked for it but cannot find it
(to play it on another player - like VLC - just copy url and paste it into 'streaming network' - same goes for any other player)

The file automatically opened in Real player, all I had to do was press play.

I have "recorded" the show, but it's only stored in the Real Player library and I can only access it and play it so I can't upload to sendspace from there. So it's back to plan A then, record analogue to Minidisc then re record to the computer and up to Sendspace. Job done!

yes coastie - in the library only the url to the stream gets saved not the file itself - thats why only your old method works.
But please only record it if you also want to save the file for yourself - plz. don't take the effort only for me.
BTW I've found out how it should work via VLC player - the only problem is that though I do all what they say in the manual the file itself doesn't get saved - so it must be my system and not the VLC player itself :-)
Actually I also can record it on a good old fashioned cassette as well to play it in my car - :-)

I'm recording it to Minidisc now and am 98 minutes into it at the moment.

197 mins into the programme now. I'll split it into 60 minute sections for ease of downloading. Probably be ready for downloading Saturday afternoon.

228 mins into the show and I'm fairly certain I recorded this on minidisc when it went out that Sunday evening.
