AS an afterthought- may be 1368 KHz could one day become the am home for Caroline Flashback??

That would certainly please a lot of Caroline traditionalists who were disappointed with the service carried by 648 kHz.

The plan was for Manx Radio to switch off their 1368kc/s tx last year I think. However, the success of RCN transmissions has extended the life of their tx. Also, I think the T.T. has also influenced their decision.

Yes- I see where you are coming from Chris. The 1368 link up means the IoM is being publicized as a tourist destination in east Anglia on 648kHz!! Also- so is the TT races. Its a win win situation for them. God help us if the BBC get their hands on Manx Radio!!!

Back in my day when Caroline North was prevelant, Caroline used to advertise the Isle of Man heavily. Can�t see why it should be any different now.

Caroline North brought in a LOT of advertising revenue for the Isle Of Man. That�s why the Manx Government resisted Caroline�s �sinking�.
