Thank you for your very kind offer Alec. But I already have some recordings of stations fading and not fading- from my early days listening and recording using reel to reel and cartridges.

I can always relive the fading etc via the links you sent me e.g. Grimsby.

I think the only drawback of operating a 1 watt am receivers would be that very few people would be able to hear it these days due to lack of interest in am and in radios - now we have smart phones!!!
