Hi arfa Sunday 3 march approx 8am song Hurdy Gurdy Man can you please tell me who sang this version.....it was not Donovan.....I did enjoy the Frankie goes to Hollywood parody.....to keep the song at no.1 they did keep releasing different mixes of the same song
Unable to get cruisin radio 0n Tunein Radio app on my smartphone....is this a temporary thing and is there another way to receive the station on my smartphone? You played a great version of The Whos Join Together the other day which was,in my opinion, better than the original......keep the good work up

The who version is taken from my TRACK label single.
Ijust love transferring and cleaning the original vinyl whenever possible as it sounds much better than the re-engineering done by some young snot probably, who has no interest whatsoever in an old track by the Who! Lot's of the re-mastering loses the original acoustic depth. Mind you, the station is using audio processing too, but that is to make sure it sounds clearer and crisper if anything.
The version of Hurdy Gurdy is by the wonderful Steve Hillage (who is superb live!). and, as for tune in, I have tried countless times to update the info. since we changed recently on there, does it work now?
We have not only changed ISP again (the 3rd in 4 months) but main server too. The web site links are up to date- hope tunein is ok. Still waiting fro reciva to update too. It has been a nightmare for both us and the listeners... all due to bad ISP's. We are now finally OK it seems. Apologies, Arfa' B!
Hey Al !!!! I just had a thought- it may be the recently released version of Join Together by the Sweet that you heard? It was only released some months back last year. WE were THE FIRST station to play it anywhere by the way!!!
