That's one of the reasons why I loved my old valve radio which even without a proper aerial used to pull stations in from all over the world never mind the UK.

There's hints that Radio Caroline North might be back on 1368 again sometime.

I'm wondering if Manx Radio are looking to lose their AM TX and want to give it over to Caroline for their use? It would be very good news for me if that was the case. If I ever won the lottery I'd arrange for the Ross to be towed to the Fredericia's old anchorage off Ramsey, calling in at Holyhead on her way up, just like her predessor did. Preferably broadcasting as she came up!

Well, that's that! Hopefully it won't be too long before we hear them again.

I'll upload what I have taken off air when I get a chance. I have about five hours from Saturday late morning/ early afternoon and the final five hours from 16.00 yesterday.

This is the last of the Radio Caroline North recordings from 6am to the 9pm close down on Sunday- Manx Radio faded out the Caroline theme at 9pm so I added a full version to tidy up the recording.

I managed to get the editing right this time, so each hour long recording starts at the top of the hour.

So rumours abound of another link up with Manx Radio and a Radio Caroline North BX at the latter end of October, I believe.

I remember well having to turn the old radio to the North for Caroline and to the East for the BBC. (when my Dad wanted to listen to it!) And even for listening to Radio Luxembourg at night.
