Barry was saying that they hope to be broadcasting live from the Ross on the River Blackwater on Friday. This is after 4G equipment has been installed.

I like it when they broadcast from the Ross. I don't know why, but it always sounds better. (even though the same equipment is used both shoreside and aboard ship) but the sound quality is better from the ship and, as I have reported before, my 442's fairly bounce across my floor with the bass.

I only ask because I am not fussy on the playlist of the regular service. I prefer a lighter 'middle of the road' type like Flashback play e.g. Adam Faith, Helen Shapiro, Dusty Springfield, Carpenters,The Fortunes, Helen Reddy etc etc etc

Well, I'm listening to the Top 15 at the mo, no mention of that being live from the Ross, but I suspect that that is pre recorded anyway.

A cloudy dawn over the Ross this morning. We've tinkered with the Schedule today. At 9.00 Kevin T will hand over to the Top 15s and then come back at 10.00 for another hour before Barry J takes over until 14.00 and Steve A goes through 'till 17.00

I-net radio in the garden, pc radio in house plus my neighbours laptops tuned in----great audio, excellent reception outside but,---------can't fight it, I'm a KBC addict lol

Sadly, at the moment I can't play the output through my Kenwood and 442's like I could when they were on Sky, but I'm working on it!

Umm, yes, it USED to! (parts of Eire, Isle of Mann and a considerable size of North Wales!)

OH! And a part of South West Wales too!

I think it all depends where, how high and how you pose the antenna

but - for household use a smaller one would serve better maybe
