As someone who only gets round to visit forums once or twice a week these days I wanted to comment on the "Unprofessional Big L" post but it was closed so will add my half-penny worth below which hopefully won't get deleted.

I will admit that I don't listen to Big L or any internet radio for that matter much these days but on the odd occasion that I have tuned to Big L I can't remember the last time I heard Roger Davis on air and according to FOBL he seems to mostly be absent these days. Under the circumstances I would have thought the best thing for any presenter leading up to 4pm to do would be not to mention who is on at all that way it doesn't matter who comes on.

Whllst on the subject of Big L am I the only person who finds the music when you are on "Board Index" annoying? I usually look on forums in my lounge via the laptop when others are watching TV and end up getting shouted at everytime I go on FOBL.

I am aware that at least a couple of internet only stations including Big L are asking for funding these days not wishing to offend the operators of any station but I have to say that if you wish to run an internet station and you can't afford to run it then maybe the answer is not to be running it at all. As a matter of principle I will not contribute to help keep any such station on air as quite frankly I have my own family & hobbies to fund and I also make donations to charities but neither receive or ask for assistance from others so sorry I won't be chipping in towards radio station costs. If that means a station ceases to exist then so be it.

Yes that's fair enough if you want to lock this feel free to do so as it doesn't need response I just wanted to say a few words. Actually on reading it back I should have qualified why I currently listen to little internet radio it is mainly due to my phone getting old and not working well online in the car and not having the time when at home. It has nothing to do with the actual stations.
